Planet Minigolf Maniacs was started Saturday, November 25, 2000 by a minigolfer named TruSoulja. I wanted to start a good looking Minigolf Maniacs fan site where you could get the latest files, news and anything Minigolf Maniacs related. After a lot of hard work by Dynamix to finish the game, Sierra shut down Dynamix leaving the game unfinished at about 80%. This disappointed many people including myself. Later down the road, the Minigolf Mod team started creating a mod for the unfinished Minigolf Maniacs to make it playable. The team started with 2 members but grew to the 5 that are currently working on the mod now.
